President Assents Bill Regarding Prevention of Electronic Crimes

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has assented “The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Amendment Bill, 2025”, “The Digital Nation Pakistan Bill, 2025” and “The National Commission on the Status of Women (Amendment) Bill 2025.”

According to Radio Pakistan, the approval of these legislative measures marks a significant step in addressing electronic crimes and promoting digital governance. The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Amendment Bill, 2025, aims to enhance the legal framework for tackling cybercrimes, ensuring a safer digital environment.

The Digital Nation Pakistan Bill, 2025, focuses on advancing digital infrastructure and promoting technological development across the country. Meanwhile, the National Commission on the Status of Women (Amendment) Bill 2025 seeks to strengthen the existing laws related to women’s rights and empowerment.
