President Discusses Development Projects with Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan Governors

Islamabad: Governors of Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan separately called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during his meeting with Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, views were exchanged on the overall administrative situation in the province and measures for public welfare. The President highlighted the importance of effective coordination between the federal government and the provinces to efficiently address public issues.

In a separate meeting with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah, discussions focused on development projects and public welfare initiatives in the region. The President stressed the importance of continuing efforts to enhance infrastructure and public facilities in Gilgit-Baltistan.
