Wah: President Asif Ali Zardari has stressed the importance of further enhancing Pakistan’s defence capabilities in light of both current and anticipated security challenges. During his visit to Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah, he reiterated that bolstering national defence remains a top priority for the country.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chairman of POF Wah, Lieutenant General Syed Tahir Hameed Shah, briefed President Zardari on the various production units. He highlighted the organization’s vital role in meeting the nation’s defence needs and discussed POF’s capabilities, technological advancements, and contributions toward achieving self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
The President toured several manufacturing factories and expressed his appreciation for the technical expertise, commitment, and professionalism of the workforce. He commended POF’s significant role in strengthening Pakistan’s defence production capabilities.
