President Extends Greetings to Hindu Community on Diwali

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended heartfelt greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan on the occasion of the Diwali festival. In his message, he highlighted the significance of Diwali, emphasizing its symbolism as the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President reaffirmed that the Constitution of Pakistan ensures equal rights and complete freedom of religion for all citizens. He reiterated the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who aspired for a Pakistan where minorities would enjoy equal rights and opportunities.

President Zardari also acknowledged the significant contributions of the Hindu community in areas such as education, commerce, and public service.
