President Felicitates Poland on Independence Day

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm greetings to the people of the Republic of Poland on their 107th Independence Day. In his message, the President said since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1962, friendship between Pakistan and Poland has continued to strengthen through mutual respect and cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, over the years, the partnership between the two countries has expanded to include political dialogue, trade, investment, defence, education, and cultural exchange. The President also paid tribute to the Polish engineers, pilots, and technicians who played a key role in helping to build the Pakistan Air Force in the early years of Pakistan. He said that their contribution remains a lasting symbol of the bond between the two nations.
