Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has given assent to five summaries and bills. According to Radio Pakistan, these include the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill 2026, the Recovery of Financial Worth of Financial Institutions (Amendment) Bill 2026, and the Federal Board of Revenue (Amendment) Bill 2026.
The President also approved the conferment of the Pakistan Civil Award upon Syed Ali Mahmood. Asif Ali Zardari further approved the ratification of the Mecca Al-Mukarramah Convention concerning cooperation in the implementation of anti-corruption laws among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
