President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi visited CPLC Sindh at Governor’s House

Karachi, February 12, 2019 (PPI-OT): President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi visited CPLC Sindh at Governor’s House today. He was accompanied by Governor Sindh Mr. Imran Ismail and Mr. Najaf Quli Mirza Addl. Director General FIA. They were welcomed on their arrival by the Chief CPLC Sindh and senior members of CPLC’s Central Committee.

Chief CPLC Mr. Zubair Habib highlighted about the inception of CPLC, its functions, core values, infrastructure and success stones during last 29 years. He also briefed about the connectivity with different departments and nature of complaints handled, Neighbourhood care projects by CPLC that has resulted in drastic reduction in heinous and street crimes.

President appreciated the role of CPLC in maintaining databases, combating crimes with law enforcement agencies, Neighbourhood Care projects and welfare projects specially CPLC Shanakht and CPLC Schools in downtrodden areas of Karachi. He applauded the voluntarism of CPLC Sindh team and assured of all cooperation, assistance to ensure its continuity.

President also visited the Police Complaint Cell, CNIC Verification System Desk, Complaint Handling Department, IT Cell, Sketching unit and CPLC 24/7 Call Centre. Chief CPLC Sindh Mr. Zubair Habib presented the shield and thanked President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi for visiting CPLC Sindh.
