President Pays Tribute to Fallen Hero in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: President Asif Ali Zardari visited the native village of Shaheed Major Hamza Israr in Rawalpindi, who was martyred during a military operation against terrorists in Mir Ali, North Waziristan. The President paid his respects by offering fateha and laying a floral wreath on the grave of the fallen soldier.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari met with the family of Major Hamza Israr during his visit. He expressed his condolences and praised the major’s service and sacrifice for the nation.

The President also prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks and offered words of comfort to the grieving family. He acknowledged the patriotism demonstrated by both Major Israr and his family, highlighting their commitment to the country.
