President, PM Call for Collective Efforts Against Hepatitis

Islamabad: World Hepatitis Day is being observed today. This year’s theme is “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down.”

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed the country’s commitment to eliminating hepatitis and safeguarding the health and well-being of every Pakistani. In their separate messages, they urged collective efforts to combat the disease through early screening, timely treatment, and sustained public awareness.
