President, PM Call for Immediate Investigation into PIMS Hospital Fire Incident

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic fire incident at PIMS Hospital in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate statements, they described the tragic deaths of the newborn babies as extremely heartbreaking and an irreparable loss. President Asif Ali Zardari has directed that those responsible for the incident be identified and that action be taken against them in accordance with the law.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, through a statement from his office, has instructed the authorities to conduct an immediate investigation into the incident. He emphasized that the circumstances leading to the fire must be thoroughly examined, those responsible must be identified, and the strictest possible action must be taken.
