President, PM Condemn Attack on AJK Legislative Assembly Speaker’s Convoy

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the incident of firing on the convoy of the Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

According to Radio Pakistan, in his statement, President Zardari described the attack on the Speaker as a cowardly and despicable act. He expressed his wishes for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also issued a statement, echoing the President’s sentiments by labeling the attack as cowardly and despicable. He extended his prayers for the quick recovery of the injured individuals.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed the relevant authorities to take immediate action and ensure the arrest of those responsible for the attack.
