President, PM Express Sorrow Over Loss of Lives in Multan LPG Explosion

Multan: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed sorrow over the death of five people and injuries to several others in an LPG bowser explosion in Multan. In their separate statements, they commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls. The Prime Minister has directed an investigation into the cause of the explosion.

According to Radio Pakistan, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the explosion. The Chief Minister has directed the provision of the best medical care to the injured and the implementation of the SOPs for the use of LPG.
