Ankara: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended felicitations to the Pakistan Navy, defence experts, and all stakeholders on the commissioning of Pakistan’s second MILGEM-class naval vessel, PNS KHAIBAR in Trkiye.
According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate statements today, both leaders emphasized that the defence cooperation between Pakistan and Trkiye exemplifies the mutual trust and long-standing brotherly relations between the two nations. President Asif Ali Zardari noted that the induction of the modern naval vessel will further strengthen the protection of Pakistan’s maritime borders and enhance maritime security.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the importance of strengthening maritime power and capability as being essential for the protection of Pakistan’s economy, trade, and sea routes.
