President, PM Felicitate US on 250th Independence Anniversary

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended felicitations to President Donald Trump and the American people on the 250th anniversary of the US Independence. In a letter to his U.S. counterpart, President Asif Ali Zardari remarked that the United States continues to build upon its enduring legacy of strength, innovation, and commitment to the ideals of freedom, democracy, and opportunity.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari highlighted the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and the United States, which is based on mutual respect and a common commitment to advancing peace, security, and prosperity. In a post on X handle, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan joins the United States in celebrating this remarkable milestone and the enduring values of freedom, resilience, and democracy.

Shehbaz Sharif further noted that Pakistan remains fully committed to further strengthening its partnership with the United States, based on mutual respect, shared interests, and constructive, mutually beneficial engagement.
