President, PM Praise Security Forces for Eliminating Terrorists in South Waziristan and Dir

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for eliminating ten terrorists of the group Fitna al-Khawarij, who were reportedly backed by Indian interests, in the regions of South Waziristan and Dir.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders expressed that the nation stands united with its brave security forces and law enforcement agencies, recognizing and valuing their sacrifices in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

The President stated that the malicious intentions of terrorist elements operating under Indian patronage will be defeated at all costs. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister, in his message, expressed national pride in the professional competence, courage, and sacrifices displayed by the security forces’ personnel.

He emphasized that under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, operations against terrorists will persist with full resolve until terrorism is completely eradicated.
