President, Prime Minister Celebrate China’s 76th National Day

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have extended heartfelt felicitations to the government and the people of the People’s Republic of China on their seventy-sixth National Day. In their separate messages, they emphasized the significance of this day as a testament to China’s remarkable journey of progress, unity, and national advancement.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visionary leadership, which has propelled China to the forefront of innovation, global influence, and sustainable development. He expressed a desire to see the strengthening of Pak-China people-to-people ties, supported by collaboration in science, education, technology, and culture.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, acknowledged China’s role in global development, stability, and peace promotion. He underscored the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a significant joint economic initiative that has now entered its second phase. Sharif expressed Pakistan’s pride in its brotherly relations with China and conveyed hope that both nations will continue to elevate their friendship and partnership to new heights.
