President Stresses Coordination for Balochistan Peace and Development

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has highlighted the importance of effective coordination between the federal and provincial governments to ensure peace, development, and public welfare in Balochistan. This statement was made during a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized that Balochistan, being Pakistan’s largest province by area, warrants special attention and resources. He reiterated the need to thwart any attempts by foreign-backed terrorists to hinder the province’s development. The President expressed optimism that terrorism in Balochistan would soon be eradicated completely.

The meeting also included a briefing on the overall situation in Balochistan and the ongoing development initiatives within the province.
