Pakistan: President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized that the government is committed to fostering economic progress and enhancing the agriculture sector to ensure a prosperous future for Pakistan. Speaking at a public meeting in Moro, President Zardari highlighted the importance of increasing the per acre yield in agriculture to boost income and drive economic growth.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari stressed the need for self-sufficiency in food production as a cornerstone for strengthening the nation economically. He underscored that the government is acutely aware of the challenges faced by the populace and is actively engaged in addressing these issues to benefit future generations.

President Zardari also pointed out the transformative potential of Gwadar in bringing about positive economic changes in Balochistan.
