President Zardari Concludes Official Visit to UAE

Dubai: President Asif Ali Zardari has departed for home after completing a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates. At the Dubai Airport, he was seen off by UAE Minister of State Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Pakistan’s Ambassador to UAE, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, and the Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the visit, the President held meetings with important personalities, including UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Emirati Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Among other matters, views were exchanged on bilateral relations and economic partnership.

Progress in the fields of defense, security, and people-to-people contacts was also discussed.
