President Zardari Congratulates Jordan on Independence Day

Beijing: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended felicitations to King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the brotherly people of Jordan on their Independence Day. In a message, the President said Pakistan and Jordan enjoy cordial and long-standing relations, founded on mutual respect, trust and shared values.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President noted that both countries maintain a close understanding and convergence of views on a wide range of regional and international issues. The President expressed confidence that these fraternal ties will continue to grow even stronger in the years ahead. President Asif Ali Zardari further conveyed his sincere wishes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jordan.
