President Zardari Set for Landmark 10-Day Visit to China

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari, on the invitation of the Chinese Government, will embark on a significant ten-day visit to China starting today. The visit highlights the ongoing commitment to fortifying the strategic relationship between Pakistan and China.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari’s itinerary includes visits to Chengdu, Shanghai, and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. During his stay, he is scheduled to engage in discussions with the provincial leadership across these regions. Key topics of discussion will include the Pakistan-China bilateral relations, with a special emphasis on economic and trade cooperation, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and future connectivity projects.

The talks will also cover bilateral cooperation in multilateral forums, reflecting the two nations’ dedication to enhancing their collaborative efforts on the global stage. This visit underscores the tradition of high-level exchanges, reflecting the deep commitment of Pakistan and China to strengthen their All-weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
