Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his sincere gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping for his message of goodwill and wishes for a swift recovery following his recent injury.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a letter dated the 3rd of this month, President Xi conveyed his concern over Zardari’s injury and extended his heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery. President Xi also took the opportunity to invite Zardari to visit China at a mutually convenient time.

In his message, President Xi reiterated the deep and enduring friendship between Pakistan and China, emphasizing the shared commitment to strengthening the China-Pakistan community with a shared future in this new era.

In response, President Zardari expressed his eagerness to visit China in the near future, highlighting that such a visit would further strengthen the long-standing and ironclad ties between the two nations.
