Price Monitoring Committee Briefed on Reduction in Prices of Key Food Items.

Islamabad: Prices of poultry, pulses, potatoes, rice, sugar, and flour have reduced. This was informed by Chief Statistician Naeem-uz-Zafar at a meeting of the National Price Monitoring Committee in Islamabad today with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in the chair.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was informed that rates of transport fare have also come down. Speaking on the occasion, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that the dividends of price reduction at the global level should be passed on to the people.
