Islamabad:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the significant role newspapers play in maintaining an informed society despite the evolving information landscape.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister made these remarks in his message marking National Newspaper Readership Day. He honored newspapers, journalism professionals, especially members of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society, and readers nationwide.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that newspapers mirror the political, economic, and social aspects of national life. He noted their historical importance in promoting awareness, shaping public opinion, and providing access to credible information and diverse viewpoints.
