Prime Minister Discusses Security Situation With Minister For Interior

Islamabad, August 08 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had a detailed discussion with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan with regard to recent incident of terrorism in the country, including today’s attack in Quetta.

While expressing his deep sorrow and grief, the Prime Minister condemned the ghastly acts of sabotage and murder of innocent Pakistanis. The Prime Minister saluted the courage and commitment of the law enforcement agencies across the country and asked the Interior Minister to ensure all help to the families of the martyred and injured.

The Prime Minister, while expressing his resolve to fight the enemies of people of Pakistan, has directed the Interior Minister to present the final Draft of Counter Terrorism Strategy on 13th August, 2013 in the light of earlier discussions and consultations on the subject.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also eulogized the services of DIG Fayyaz Sumbal and all those who laid down their lives in the line of their duty and added that their blood would not go in vain and the perpetrators of the blast would be brought to book at any cost.

The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah for resting the martyrs of the blast in eternal peace and granting courage to the bereaved families to bear this huge loss with fortitude.
