Prime Minister Sharif and Kuwaiti Counterpart Discuss Bilateral Ties at Dubai Summit

Dubai: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with H.H. Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, during a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit 2025 in Dubai. The leaders discussed the current state of ties between their two nations and pledged to strengthen economic cooperation.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the meeting took place on February 11, 2025, as part of the summit scheduled from February 11 to February 13, 2025. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress in their countries’ relations and agreed on the need to advance these ties into a stronger economic partnership.

The dialogue also addressed regional and international matters, focusing on the Middle East and South Asia. The leaders underscored the urgency of implementing a ceasefire in Gaza and called for increased humanitarian aid to support the Palestinian people.
