Riyadh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with the Saudi Investment Minister, Engr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court, Mohammad Bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, in Riyadh. The meeting focused on reviewing progress on economic initiatives between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
According to Press Information Department, both sides discussed the business-to-business memorandums of understanding signed during the Saudi Investment Minister’s recent visit to Pakistan from October 9 to 11. These MoUs have reportedly started to develop into substantial investment and commercial deals. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the importance of maintaining the momentum to foster a strong economic partnership between the two nations.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude to Minister Khalid Al-Falih for his dedication to enhancing economic cooperation with Pakistan. He highlighted the potential benefits of the economic opportunities arising from Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh.
