Lahore: In a concerted effort to boost economic growth, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today emphasized the importance of fostering foreign investment in Pakistan. This priority was discussed in a meeting with a delegation of prominent UK business figures led by Zuber Issa.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s initiatives aimed at simplifying investment processes through the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s one-window operation. He cited these efforts as pivotal in improving the national economy and building confidence among investors.

During the discussions, both parties explored new avenues for cooperation and ways to enhance business-to-business relationships between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. The delegation commended the Prime Minister’s economic strategies, expressing optimism about Pakistan’s potential for stability and sustainable growth.
