Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Represent Pakistan at UN General Assembly in New York

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will represent Pakistan at the seventy-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. The Prime Minister has committed to presenting Pakistan’s perspective on critical global issues during his participation in the high-level session.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister shared his priorities ahead of his departure in a post on his X handle. He emphasized that his discussions with world leaders will center on promoting peace, sustainable development, and addressing the pressing issue of climate change. Additionally, Sharif stated that Pakistan’s efforts to build and strengthen international partnerships will be highlighted during his engagements in the United States.
