Islamabad: In a significant demonstration of global interest, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent address to the United Nations General Assembly session has emerged as the most viewed speech of any world leader on the official YouTube Channel of the United Nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the UN Centre for Public Opinion Research reported that the Prime Minister’s speech attracted 137,000 viewers, making it the top-viewed address on the UN’s platform. The channel had live-streamed speeches from various world leaders during the session.

Additionally, the speech garnered considerable attention on social media, with around 1.6 million viewers watching it on the TikTok account of Al-Jazeera, further emphasizing the wide reach and significant impact of his address at the international forum.
