Private sector’s role pivotal in tapping country’s renewable energy potential: Romina

Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam has said private sector’s role is pivotal in tapping country’s renewable energy potential.

Addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, she urged the private sector to lead the way in investing in renewable energy projects.

Highlighting the importance of private-public partnership in promoting green energy projects in the country, Romina Khurshid Alam said collaboration between the private sector and government agencies in the country is crucial for addressing climate change.

She said joint initiatives can enhance resource sharing, technology transfer, and capacity building.
