Process for Vaccination to Hajj Pilgrims Begins at Haji Camps Across Country

Islamabad: The process for vaccinating Hajj pilgrims has commenced at eleven Haji Camps nationwide today.

According to Radio Pakistan, special arrangements have been put in place for the vaccination of Hajj pilgrims at District Headquarters Hospital Muzaffarabad, Abbottabad, and Dera Ismail Khan, following the concerted efforts of Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf.

In addition to vaccinations, packing of medicines and distribution of gifts have also begun at these eleven Haji Camps. Pilgrims are being provided with vaccines to protect them from meningitis, flu, and polio.

The Spokesperson of Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged pilgrims to adhere to the scheduled visits to the camps to obtain yellow cards issued by the government post-vaccination. Special arrangements have also been made regarding the Corona vaccine for pilgrims above the age of sixty-five.
