Islamabad: Consultant Psychologist Prof. Dr. Jameel Malik has stressed the need to promote research aimed at addressing indigenous issues: In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Correspondent Qasim Bukhari, he said more than one hundred of his research papers had been published in national and international research journals, while several book chapters were also to his credit.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Jameel Malik highlighted his research contributions and mentioned that he was recognized as an International Young Researcher in 2009 due to his PhD research. He further shared that the Higher Education Commission acknowledged him as a National Best Researcher in 2018 for his research contributions and publications at the national level.
Prof. Dr. Malik emphasized the importance of finding practical solutions to indigenous and local issues through research projects he supervises. He proposed that the incumbent government should further strengthen and streamline the budgetary system of educational institutions so that students could fully benefit from government initiatives and available educational facilities.
