Progress in Jammu and Kashmir Called Meaningless Without Dignity, Says Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, puppet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah emphasized the necessity of maintaining the region’s unique identity and rights, asserting that progress is meaningless without dignity for the people of IIOJK.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdullah addressed civil society members in Srinagar, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to restoring dignity, democratic values, and development in the territory. “In our home, on our land, don’t we deserve to live with dignity? If our identity lacks honor, then nothing else truly matters,” he stated.

Expressing optimism about the restoration of statehood, he described the current status as “temporary.” The session was attended by puppet Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, other ministers, senior officials, and representatives from various sectors, including trade, tourism, education, health, and transport.
