Protest Rally in AJK Demands Release of Kashmiri Prisoners

Islamabad: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, a protest rally demanding the release of Kashmiri prisoners in Indian jails was held in Jhelum Valley today. Organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat, the rally saw significant participation from various segments of society, including youth and children.

According to Radio Pakistan, the rally participants carried pictures of Kashmiri leaders who are imprisoned in Indian jails. They held banners with pro-freedom and anti-Indian slogans, expressing their demands and sentiments. The protesters also carried flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, alongside black flags symbolizing their protest against the Indian occupation of Kashmir.

Speakers and protestors at the rally called on international human rights organizations, such as Amnesty International and Asia Watch, to exert pressure on the Indian government for the release of all Kashmiri prisoners. The rally highlighted the ongoing concerns about human rights and the plight of Kashmiri prisoners, urging global intervention.
