Provincial Govt Takes Significant Steps to Improve Health Sector in Province: Azma

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Zahid Bukhari has announced that the provincial government is making strides in enhancing the health sector across the province. She highlighted several initiatives that aim to improve healthcare services for the residents.

According to Radio Pakistan, Bukhari revealed during a news conference that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is set to inaugurate a new Cardiology Hospital in Sargodha next month. This development is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to expand and modernize healthcare facilities.

Bukhari also mentioned that medicines are now being delivered directly to people’s homes, minimizing the need for travel and ensuring timely access to necessary treatments. Additionally, the introduction of field hospitals and Clinics on Wheels has been instrumental in reaching underserved areas, providing essential medical services to those who need them most.

The provincial government’s focus on healthcare improvements reflects a commitment to addressing public health needs and enhancing the overall quality of life for its citizens.
