PTCL and Huawei Introduce 5G-Ready Connectivity to Islamabad’s Sukh Chayn Residence

Islamabad: PTCL Group, in collaboration with Huawei, has launched advanced connectivity solutions at Sukh Chayn Residence, a luxury residential complex in Islamabad. The initiative integrates 5G-ready Digital Indoor System (DIS) Lampsite and High-speed Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) to enhance digital living in Pakistan.

The DIS offers a significant advancement in connectivity, moving beyond traditional Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) by delivering fully digital signals through an active infrastructure. This ensures improved coverage and reduced interference, particularly in high-rise buildings, while preserving the aesthetic appeal of the living space.

Asif Ahmed, Group Chief Business Solution Officer at PTCL and Ufone 4G, emphasized the partnership’s role in reinforcing PTCL’s leadership in business solutions. He highlighted the DIS’s capacity to provide seamless connectivity, thereby enhancing residents’ daily lives and work routines.

Muhammad Saleh Azeem, CEO of Sukh Chayn Residence, expressed pride in being the first 5G-ready residential complex. He affirmed the partnership’s alignment with the complex’s commitment to addressing residents’ evolving needs.

Michael Che, Managing Director Carrier Business at Huawei, expressed enthusiasm for introducing Huawei’s 5G-ready DIS technology in Pakistan. He noted that this would redefine high-speed mobile broadband connectivity for the residential sector.

This collaboration further solidifies PTCL’s reputation as a preferred telecom partner for leading brands in Pakistan, adding a unique mobile broadband element to its existing fiber partnerships.
