PTI govt committed to eradicate polio from country: Dr. Firdous

Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that PTI government is committed to eradicate polio from the country.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore today (Monday), she said that a five-day polio has been launched in the province and effective monitoring is being carried out to cover all areas.

She said that polio drive was affected due coronavirus and as a result 14 cases have been reported during ongoing year.

She said that the media and nation is playing a vital role to create awareness about the national cause of elimination of polio.
