Punjab Assembly Press Committee Leadership Elected Unopposed

Lahore: Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has extended his congratulations to Khawaja Naseer and Adnan Sheikh for their unopposed election as president and secretary, respectively, of the Punjab Assembly Press Committee.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the minister emphasized the government’s commitment to freedom of expression in a statement. He highlighted the strong relationship between the Punjab Assembly’s Press Gallery Committee and journalists, assuring that the doors of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting remain open to members of the press.

Attaullah Tarar underscored the importance of unbiased journalism in guiding society and expressed optimism that the newly elected officials would fulfill the expectations of their fellow journalists.
