Punjab Braces for 11th Spell of Monsoon Rainfall

Islamabad: In Punjab, the 11th spell of monsoon rainfall will begin tomorrow that is expected to continue till 19th of this month. PDMA has asked citizens to take precautionary measures during bad weather and contact PDMA Helpline 1129 in any emergency.

According to Radio Pakistan, DG PDMA Punjab, Irfan Ali Kathia, has reported a high flood at Panjnad with a water flow of three hundred seven thousand cusecs. The River Satluj is experiencing a medium flood, while the water level remains normal in the River Chenab and Ravi.

He stated that all departments are on alert under the direction of Chief Minister Punjab. Resources are being utilized for the protection of lives and properties of citizens.
