Dhaka:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed that all remaining tasks related to the Chief Minister’s e-Bikes Scheme be finalized as soon as possible.
According to Radio Pakistan, the scheme aims to assist students, especially females, by making their commutes easier and reducing their monthly expenses.
Over 600,000 applications have been submitted for the program, with 100,000 students set to be chosen through a balloting process. The e-bikes will be available on easy monthly installments of 3,000 rupees, with the Punjab government covering the interest.
