Punjab CM Announces Expansion of Sahulat Bazars Across Province

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced plans to establish thirty additional Sahulat Bazars across the province by June 30 of this year. In her statement, she emphasized the need to expedite the establishment of these markets at the Tehsil level throughout Punjab.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz highlighted the impact of Sahulat Bazars in providing the public with easy access to standard edible items at more affordable prices. The initiative has also created employment opportunities, benefiting fifty-five thousand families across the region.

The Punjab Chief Minister’s project has resulted in the employment of nine thousand two hundred individuals in the existing forty-six Sahulat Bazars within the province. The expansion of these markets is expected to further enhance access to essential goods and services for the residents of Punjab.
