Punjab CM Announces Special Measures to Control Inflation During Ramadan

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced special measures to control inflation during the holy month of Ramadan. Chairing a meeting in Lahore on the Nigehban Ramadan Programme, she directed district administrations to ensure maximum relief for the public across the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister stated that Ramadan Cards are being issued to over four million families, with the distribution process already underway. So far, approximately 450,000 cards have been distributed, each providing financial assistance of ten thousand rupees.

Maryam Nawaz further mentioned that Sahulat Bazaars and Ramadan Bazaars are now fully operational in all cities of Punjab to facilitate citizens. She emphasized that strict action will be taken against profiteers and hoarders during Ramadan.
