Punjab CM Approves Purchase of Wheat from PASSCO

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the purchase of wheat from PASSCO to help stabilize wheat and flour prices across the province. She was chairing a meeting via video link in Lahore today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting decided that wheat will be supplied to flour mills at 3,300 rupees per maund to ensure affordable flour and bread for the public. This strategic move aims to mitigate any potential shortages and price hikes, ensuring that the staple commodities remain within reach for the citizens of Punjab.
