Punjab CM Approves Rs50,000 Fine for Dumping Animal Waste During Eid-ul-Azha

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a fine of fifty thousand rupees for throwing animal waste and offal in the streets and neighbourhoods during Eid-ul-Azha. The Chief Minister gave the approval while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz directed the authorities to launch a comprehensive public awareness campaign to discourage people from disposing of animal remains in prohibited places. This initiative aims to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the province during the festive period.

She also directed special cleaning and monitoring of drains, canals, and other public places in every city to ensure that public health and environmental standards are upheld during Eid-ul-Azha.
