Punjab CM Directs Measures to Curb Rising Vegetable Prices

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed immediate steps to ensure reduction in prices and availability of vegetables. Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she expressed concern over recent increase in the prices of tomatoes and other vegetables. Maryam Nawaz directed that price lists must be prominently displayed at every shop and at the entrances of all markets.

According to Radio Pakistan, she emphasized that the impact of all government measures aimed at reducing prices must be visible at the public level.
