Punjab CM Directs Strict Enforcement of Official Bread Prices

Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has instructed strict enforcement of the officially set prices of bread throughout the province. Chairing a meeting via video link, the Chief Minister reviewed the performance indicators assigned to commissioners and deputy commissioners.

According to Radio Pakistan, she also directed the establishment of designated bus stops for electric buses at every location along their routes. Additionally, she stressed the importance of conducting transparent and timely flood surveys in the affected areas. Deputy Commissioners were instructed to personally oversee the flood survey efforts to ensure the collection of accurate and verified data.

The Chief Minister further ordered that all available state-owned agricultural land be brought under wheat cultivation. She directed the Agriculture Department to supply high-quality wheat seeds to support this initiative.
