Punjab CM Expresses Govt’s Resolve to Make Province Plastic-Free

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed her government’s resolve to make the province plastic-free.

According to Radio Pakistan, in her message on Plastic Bag Free Day today, she emphasized that the government is actively promoting the use of eco-friendly cloth and paper bags instead of plastic ones. Maryam Nawaz highlighted that a culture of following environmental laws is being established in markets and factories to eliminate plastic use.

She further elaborated that the provincial government is introducing eco-friendly and recyclable alternatives throughout the province.
