Punjab CM Inaugurates Electric Bus Project in Sahiwal

Sahiwal: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the electric bus project in Sahiwal. Addressing the ceremony, she announced that the fare for the electric bus service will be only 20 rupees, and highlighted that senior citizens, women, and students will be able to travel free of cost.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized that each bus will have a separate section for women, as well as mobile charging and Wi-Fi facilities. Maryam Nawaz stated that the government’s focus is on providing quality and affordable travel facilities to the people of Punjab.

In addition to the transportation project, the Chief Minister announced that heart patients in Sahiwal will now have access to treatment within the city. She also mentioned that thirty electric buses have been allocated specifically for Sahiwal.
