Punjab CM Inaugurates Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore

Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the inaugural ceremony, she announced the immediate availability of heart transplant facilities at the institute, beginning tomorrow. She emphasized that all treatment facilities for heart patients at the institute will be provided free of cost and will utilize state-of-the-art technology.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the establishment of a dedicated fund to support heart transplants. She highlighted that over 14,500 children have already benefited from free cardiac procedures and surgeries under the Children Heart Surgery Program.
